Job description

This is a position for someone that has the technical knowledge and at the same time loves the interaction with people and work in a high-level sales position within a sales department? To focus on outside sales in the role of Account Manager you will be responsible for the relationship with resellers and outside sales activities.

The positions involve a mix of pre-sales, after-sales and marketing activities. You will be in in close contact with the sales team of the dealers. Pro-actively make sure they know them personally and maintain a good relationship. Pro-actively visit all the active resellers one time per year. Pro-actively arrange to visit them several times a year (Ten top dealers of each country should be actively visited every quarter). Pro-actively make them aware of all new product and their advantages compared to competition. Re-actively support resellers in their request for help on projects/ tenders, dealer shows, trade shows. For the after-sales activities you will check on completed projects and end user satisfaction. Re-actively visit prospects on site at the request of Inside Sales team, Senior Account Manager, Director or VP or evaluate possible new dealers following web requests, phone calls, tradeshows etc. Re-actively visit Universities, important end users following their requests or dealers’ requests.

The position also consists of marketing activities such as discuss with the sales team regarding the top 50 dealers, their needed/wanted products or product changes regarding their market and competition. Re-actively conduct research in a specific product group area at the request of the product marketing group regarding prices, competition, sales action etc. Pro-actively take pictures of reseller’s installations, resellers events when possible. Re-actively translate/check brochures, news flash and catalog.



You will also be able to perform all the functions of a Customer Support/Supervisor, at the highest level, as described in the Support/Supervisor job description except for quote, op task etc. As well as maintain the product knowledge and Key customer relationships and efficient coverage of their territory via a clear and prepared agenda of visits.

You will report on each visit made to sales team of top 50 dealers, based on the list supplied to them at the beginning of that year by the senior account management to the European Sales Director and the Senior Account Manager of their region. Communicate to their team on reseller’s request as quote, marketing tools, brochures etc. Administrational tasks such as updating the CRM after each visit on contact, sales/financial info on resellers etc. You will also communicate info link to technical issue, accounting etc., to the appropriate department. Communicate their agenda to the Senior Account Manager of their area, Sales Director, Technical Director, VP EMEA and VP IS every week, where name of the companies and contact name should be indicated.

Requirements

As you probably have seen in the job description, we are looking for a pro-active, commercial and communicational driven person, who has technical savviness and a great understanding of Audio-Visual equipment.

To be able to perform in the position you combine your commercial drive with a Bachelor of Science Degree within Electrical Engineering or similar. Candidates that only bring experience from an IT environment or Media will not be considered for the position.

As this position is to operate on the Nordic market, it is essential that you have an understanding / fluency in one of the Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian). English is the corporate language, so fluency in English speaks for itself.

You are in the possession of a valid driver’s license (B) for Sweden and you live in the greater Stockholm area. We can only consider candidates that have a valid working permit for working in Sweden.

Working conditions
