Job description
As an Account Manager in this organization, you would be responsible for the sales and profitability of their peanut butter and nut product lines to their Nordic retailers. This would entail both client relationship management and client acquisition. Here are some specific responsibilities:- Retain and expand the business of current customers;
- Build lasting client relationships;
- Advise on orders, negotiate prices, and follow up with order administration;
- Create business opportunities with new customers;
- Research the current market and gain insights on market trends;
- Provide trustworthy product/market advice to potential customers;
- Formulating the sales strategy based on customer and market information;
- Category development; together with the Category Development team;
Requirements
To be successful in this position, it’s important that you are commercially driven and patient (the sales cycles can be long!). They aim to build a consultancy level of relationship with their retailers, so it’s important that you can think critically and communicate professionally. Next to this, it’s also important that you have a financial understanding and are quick with numbers. Here are some hard requirements:- Professional level of Danish (C2) and English;
- 3+ years of Account Management experience, plus an affinity with business development;
- Living within 1 hour of Doetinchem;
- Valid EU driver’s license;
Working conditions
- Base salary starting from 3.800 gross per month;
- Attractive bonus scheme (10% of your annual salary, excl. holiday money);
- Company car;
- Hybrid working (1-2 days per week from home);
