Job description
As the Account Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing relationships with customers and providing support to internal and external customers. You will assist with resolving complex issues, conducting research and analysis as necessary to solve outstanding receivable balances. The position also involves acting as a point of contact for the team and helping to create a culture of excellence by exceeding expectations for metrics and SLAS. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and systems.Along side this your responsibilities will entail:
- Resolving complex issues (complaints, escalations, etc) and acting as primary support
- Adapt to different communication styles with customers
- Maintain process and procedure documentation
- Act as a point of contact for the team
- Maintain documentation for processes and procedures
- Identify process enhancements that will improve department results and efficiencies
- Conduct testing and QA of the system
Requirements
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or credit control or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the specified criteria.
- Fluent in both French C2 and English C1; proficiency in Dutch is preferred.
- Effectively handle challenging customer situations with a strong ability to resolve them successfully.
- Showcase solid negotiation skills even in demanding circumstances.
- Exhibit excellent listening skills for a comprehensive understanding and effective addressal of customer needs.
- Possess a coachable nature, displaying the ability to enhance performance based on constructive feedback.
- Share information, advice, and suggestions willingly to contribute to the team's success.
- Display high competence in utilizing Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Consistently exceed expectations in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
- Prove efficiency in prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Maintain professional written and verbal communication skills.
