Accounts Receivable Specialist (temporary position)

Job description

Our client is urgently seeking a temporary candidate with AR experience to support their credit control team for 6 months. Responsibilities include:
  • Process incoming payments promptly as they are received.
  • Record customer payments in multiple currencies across various European countries.
  • Ensure daily cash allocation and reconciliation to the correct accounts.
  • Complete month-end bank reconciliations accurately.
  • Prepare customer statements, client reports, and other necessary documentation.
  • Lead regular debtor review meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by addressing internal and external queries promptly.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support the broader finance team.
  • Escalate any issues to the credit control manager as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Credit Control Expertise: 2-3 years of experience in a credit control team or AR environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English. Any additional European languages is considered a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong focus on Excel. Experience with SAP is also required. You have a good general knowledge of various payment methods/processes
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will regularly liaise with colleagues across multiple offices and countries.
  • Team Player: A collaborative, social personality with a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional planning and organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently.

Working conditions
