Job description

In this role you will execute the Demand and Supply chain planning process for 100 dedicated clinical studies for 10 different molecules. The study management team is based in the UK and studies are executed in Australia, Israel and countries in Europe. You are responsible for ensuring finished drug supply from study start to end by effectively coordinating the inventory management. You work under the general direction of a senior manager.

Some of your tasks will be:
- Forecasting supply and adjusting system settings accordingly to reflect the latest expectations on study demand, this includes attending and preparing for stakeholder meetings
- Ensuring supply in the central warehouses and sites that participate in the clinical trial, while keeping in mind drug expiry dates. Indicating ratio, volume, and timing of packaging and shipment of packed supplies
- Balancing the right amount of inventory with the scrap risk and management guidance on inventory levels
- Resolving logistical conflicts impacting studies and R&D milestones ensuring that supplies are not on the critical path
- Promptly identifying and escalating risks to study timelines or clinical supplies, from a supply chain perspective, to all key stakeholders and internal management
- Using systems to effectively manage key product such as the Forecasting system, SAP, Hospital inventory and dosing system, Dashboard controls and internal documents as a source for daily activities.
- Articulating clearly the clinical supply chain management processes and strategies to key stakeholders
- Identifying, reviewing and/or updating existing procedures as per Good Manufacturing Procedures
- Negotiating resolution of resource conflicts where necessary and actively participating in planning meetings to ensure that project needs, priorities, and timing are understood


- Bachelor’s degree, preferred area: supply chain, economics, science
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in inventory management in a complex environment
- Ability to work within a multicultural environment
- Business level of English
- Fulltime availability (40 hours per week)

Working conditions

We offer a competitive salary depending on experience. For this role, it is important that you currently reside in the Breda area. This role is a temporary position covering a maternity leave. Desired starting date is December 1st and probable ending date is July 16th. Extension of the assignment is not guaranteed.
