Job description

The Business Developer will be part of the Business Development team. The main aims are to identify, engage and deliver new business in the finance sector to help drive the growth and market visibility in the Nordics, and the area will be expanding in the near future. This role will be focused on selling regulatory and financial reporting solutions to Insurance and Corporate firms across the Nordic/Baltic countries and the European markets.


The main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to; identifying opportunities where new relationships can be built. You will be directly responsible for the identification, contact, qualification, and development of new accounts within an established and defined territory. And lead the end-to-end sales process with customers and win new business from prospecting to negotiating contracts. You enjoy working to achieve agreed goals by generating and closing deals. Also, by developing and enhancing relationships with key executives at C-level. You easily connect with people and you know the importance of keeping in contact with the potential client. This you do by building deep and long-lasting client relationships by understanding customer needs and matching company products and services accordingly. Enhancing the reputation of your employer as a trusted software provider and generate new revenue through upsells by strengthening client relationships.


· Answering or arranging for the answer of RFI's and RFP's within stipulated timescales and according to stipulated delivery requirements.
· Working with presales consultants and others as deemed necessary to present in-depth demonstrations.
· Giving company presentations providing clear and detailed positioning of the value proposition and solution offering.
· Making full use of the CRM tool to keep management always informed of the status.
· Representing at seminars, industry events & conferences
· Collaborate and work with others in the sales and professional services team to learn best practices and create a cohesive experience across de products and services.

· Experience of being a sales consultant, not a salesperson
· Demonstrate experience in using CRM, Sequencing and Microsoft Office tools in a professional environment
Preferably you have 4+ years of sales/sales development experience at a SaaS technology company or previous experience in selling complex software solutions to executives and C-levels in the banking or insurance sector. At least this would be advantageous.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets, you are a ‘hunter’ when it comes to sales!
· Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation
· Ability to negotiate and to close deals.
· Understanding the complexity of the commercial sales process.
· Over-achiever with strong problem-solving skills and a strong drive for results
· Able to take responsibility for managing your own time in an effective and responsible manner and involve others where necessary.
· Flexibility to travel in pursuit of objectives
· Proven talent for making effective cold calls to target companies.
· Team spirit, positively minded, ability to bring drive and motivation to the team
· The spoken language at work is English, so fluency in English is mandatory. As this role is to be operating on the Nordic market, fluency of one of the Nordic languages is mandatory. (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish). Would you happen to speak French or have lived and worked in France before, it is only to great advantage! This is because the manager – who is a very professional, open-minded and nice person, is a French speaker.

Working conditions

The salary is split into a base salary and a good, generous bonus structure. Private health care insurance, pension plan, and sports compensation are part of the package. The company also offers career progression, travel opportunities and you will operate out of a centrally located office in the heart of Stockholm, near the central station.
