Job description

Our client is in search of a Business Development Specialist who will collaborate closely with organizational leaders and the M&A team to further their achievements in acquiring software businesses. This role will be instrumental in initiating discussions and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities. Part of your responsibilities include:
  • Qualifying company prospects with the help of tools suchs as LinkedIn and Zoominfo
  • Hunting owners of software companies to explore acquisition opportunities
  • Nurturing relationship with company owners, leveraging your deep business acumen to sustain engaging conversations over multiple years
  • Maintaining meticulous records in Salesforce while tracking over 100 personalized outreach activities on a weekly basis


These are the key requirements:
  • Commercial mindset first & foremost & an underlying desire to exceed in performance and results
  • Knowledge into the Greek market
  • Proficiency in Greek language as well as English (operating language within the company)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in business development and/or experience in outbound sales environments, including cold calling and email outreach
  • Knowledge into the software industry or related
  • Exceptional ability to connect with others and open doors
  • Basic financial literacy and curiosity to learn more
  • Customer-centric approach, with strong listening and empathy skills

Working conditions

Our client can offer a direct contract within an exciting and competitive industry - a great opportunity for true hunters! They are working hybrid out of their office in Nieuwegein.
