Job description

Our client is in search of a Business Development Specialist who will collaborate closely with organizational leaders and the M&A team to further their achievements in acquiring software businesses. This role will be instrumental in initiating discussions and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities. Part of your responsibilities include:

  • Qualifying company prospects with the help of tools suchs as LinkedIn and Zoominfo
  • Hunting owners of software companies to explore acquisition opportunities
  • Nurturing relationship with company owners, leveraging your deep business acumen to sustain engaging conversations over multiple years
  • Maintaining meticulous records in Salesforce while tracking over 100 personalized outreach activities on a weekly basis

Requirements

These are the key requirements:

  • Commercial mindset first & foremost & an underlying desire to exceed in performance and results
  • Working experience in the relevant market (UK and Ireland specifically)
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus (you should at least be willing to learn or be creative to use it with the assistance of AI tools to implement your work)
  • Exceptional ability to connect with others and open doors
  • Experience in outbound sales environments, including cold calling and email outreach
  • Basic financial literacy and curiosity to learn more
  • Customer-centric approach, with strong listening and empathy skills

Our client is an expert in vertical market software's, working on the acquisition of companies to improve their services and efficiency. They are continuously expanding and are now searching for someone to help them broaden their presence in the UK market as well as Ireland.
