Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Temporary Team Leader to oversee our client's Pooling Service Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 17 Return System Specialists, ensuring smooth operations, optimal performance, and exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 17 Return System Specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate daily operations of the pooling service, ensuring efficient processing of pallet returns and distributions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track team performance, set clear goals, and provide regular feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and service quality.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to pallet returns, discrepancies, and customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Suitable work experience in a similar (team leader) role is a must
  • Stands firm in his/her shoes;
  • Has experience in leading international teams;
  • Has people management skills;
  • Dutch language is a plus;
  • 32-40 hours per week availability
  • Location in the Eindhoven area
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A true team player
  • You have a HBO/Bachelor or Master degree
Please note that this is a temporary position for approximately 3 to 5 months.
