Our client is a growing and innovative company in the fin-tech (trading) sector. They have a small office in the center of Amsterdam.

Job description

You will be part of a small Client Services team based in Amsterdam, and working together with the Client Service team in the UK. You will be responsible for delivering first-class service for internationally based clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Client on-boarding: ensure required documentation is collected and entered into internal CRM and permission tools.
  • AML and KYC onboarding
  • Proactively respond to client inquiries and requests on a daily basis: new account setups; reporting (internal and external); trading relationships; various system issues, etc
  • Liaison with Client Sales and Dealer Relationship Managers on all dealer/client issues
  • Produce, maintain and distribute daily reports both internally and externally.
  • Provide training and support (internal and external)
  • Demo/Training: Client and Dealer Administrator Portal, Allocations
  • Regularly update all required documentation and help guides for both Internal and External Purposes
  • Manage local Dealer-System Administrator relationships
  • Be able to represent the department in internal project meetings from initiation through the Project lifecycle to conclusion
  • Prioritise, review and escalate outstanding problems and log them accordingly in a timely manner
  • Deal with any ad-hoc requests as directed by the local team Manage


  • MiFID II experience – ARM and APA
  • At least 2-5 years Client Services/Operations Experience
  • Excellent level of German and/or French and English, written and spoken
  • Post-Trade experience.
  • Understanding of the Fixed Income Market
  • Basic understanding of SQL would be advantageous
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in an investment bank, asset management company, or trading firm
  • Desire to be in a client-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate to senior management and clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking abilities, proven ability to prioritize projects, innovative thinking, and a client-focused approach.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, and preferably PowerPoint
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Self-starter and tenacious
  • Other main additional European languages would be a plus

Working conditions

  • Direct contract with the company.
  • The intention is for long-term.
  • This is a full time position.
  • Salary: competitive, with good secondary benefits
  • Working hours: Monday-Friday, with shifts between 07:00-17:30, with a preference for often working the early shift (07:00-16:30)
