My client is a modern, family-owned company with boundless ambition. Operating in the food sector, this company sources a wide range of high quality meat and poultry for the European domestic market from the best regions in the world. Besides standard meat and poultry products, my client also supplies customized products and strong own brands and concepts. Thinking pro-actively with the customer, this global player in meat is also developing its own line of organic meat and vegan meat alternatives. Based in the Dutch Food Valley, my client is closely working with many research institutes and other food companies to stay on top of his game.

Job description

As my clients new Commercial Administrator (Logistics) you will be responsible for the administration of:

  • incoming and outgoing goods
  • packaging of orders, while staying in contact with respective customers and deliverers
  • incoming and outgoing transports and giving directions to drivers for these transports

Additionally, you will be taking on the following tasks:

  • staying in contact with drivers, transporters, deliverers and customers (via phone and email)
  • supporting planners in the organization of transports in and outside the Netherlands
  • collaborating with internal departments to organize logistical processes, making sure these processes take place without any problems

Requirements

You are the ideal Commercial Administrator (Logistics) for my client if you:

  • hold an MBO degree (or higher), preferably in the field of logistics or comparable
  • are fluent in Dutch and English and speak and write Ukrainian and/or Russian on at least B2 level
  • have at least 1 to 2 years or relevant work experience in administration (more is welcome)
  • have work experience in or knowledge of logistics/transportation of goods
  • are flexible regarding your availability - office hours range from 05:00 am to 21:00 pm (once per week you will start early and once per week you will start late), one time in five weeks you will work on a Saturday
  • live max. 30 minutes away from Veenendaal

On top of that you are an enthusiastic go-getter with hands on communication skills and a good eye for details. You have no trouble keeping the overview over more complex logistical processes.
