Customer Service Specialist | French

Job description

As a Customer Service Hero you will be a spider in the web with a wide range of interesting and challenging tasks. You will ensure that all processes around the customer and logistics work smoothly. You will closely work together with the Logistic Specialist of the French market and of course with you other internal colleagues and external shipper and carriers.

High level overview:
You will be responsible for:
  • Carrier Relationship Management
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Financial Procedures and Operating Metrics
  • Track & Trace Shipments in TMS (transportation management system)
  • Analyze and optimize delivery processes

Task-level overview:
You will be responsible for:
  • Appointment Scheduling/Schedule appointments with shipper and/or receiver, update the TMS as needed and communicate with Logistics Coordinator
  • Lead training sessions for Carrier Contacts as necessary on Carrier Portal.
  • Request EDI set-up on newly contracted carriers and set-up Carrier Portal/FAM log-ins.
  • Use of JIRA to request carrier/customer new users and password resets via JIRA; provide specific and detailed comments to ensure Help Desk receives clear actionable requests within JIRA
  • and a lot of additional more interesting tasks


  • You preferably have a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • You are fluent in French (C2) and English, fluency in Spanish and/or Italian is a plus
  • You have customer service or hospitality experience (1-2 years)
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have have an entrepreneurial mindset and you are pro-active.
  • You have the ability to stay calm and friendly even in challenging situations.

  • You have to already live in the Netherlands and in a 30-40 km radius of Leusden.
  • You have to have valid work permit, visa sponsorship it NOT possible

Working conditions

  • Full time - 40 hours (preferred) / 32 hours negotiable
  • Hybrid working model possible (working from home and office)
  • Travel allowance
  • Flexible pension plan (5% pension premium)
  • Holiday allowance (8%)
  • Working from home equipment allowance

Salary from: €2200,-
Salary to: €3200,-
