Job description

The demand planner is part of the operational purchasing team (currently consists of 2 people) and reports to the operational purchasing manager.

As the demand planner you will analyze current sales, promotional activities, trend developments, innovations, product introductions, and analyze + develop scenarios for supply chain and operations. You will also act as the key user of Slim4. Slim4 is an integrated solution for forecasting, demand planning and inventory management. Furthermore, you will establish reliable forecasts, and provide KPIs and risk analyses to increase availability and reduce stock risks.

Furthermore, your tasks include:
• Managing the demand process;
• Preparing and maintaining the forecast per product in Slim4;
• Communicating relevant information regarding the sales forecast to stakeholders;
• Manage the documentation functional design of Slim4;
• Ensuring continuous improvement of the demand planning processes within and outside Slim4;
• Initiating, elaborating, testing and implementing new functionalities;
• Provide training to your colleagues;
• Making questionnaires for other (key) users of Slim4;
• Coordinating communication between sales, supply chain planning and operations;

Requirements

• At least a HBO working and thinking level with several years of relevant work experience;
• You speak business English (C1 or C2) and Dutch on at least B1 level. Speaking French and/or German is a plus.
• You work in a disciplined and accurate manner;
• You bring positive energy with you
• you are critical and you have analytical skills;
• You excel in converting data into analyzes and can also convey this to your audience;
• Keeping an overview in a (sometimes) hectic environment is no problem for you;
• Customer focus and flexibility are of paramount importance to you, without losing sight of the facts;
• You can handle pressure;

This position is open for 32-40 hours a week.
