Our client, based in Hoofddorp, produces and distributes specialised equipment for commercial production centres. They are a long established business unit of a huge international company, and have been growing consistently over the years. They have a team of around 40 here in Hoofddorp / Amsterdam, and the company is dynamic, international yet retains keeps the local Dutch culture. The main language of the company is English.

Job description

Responsible for the communication of information about (new) products and find the best ways to present a product’s message, brand and benefits to the potential customer. Oversee outbound marketing efforts and help to develop collateral, pricing, sales materials and market analysis, working closely with Sales and (off-site) Product Management.

· Build on product messaging that sets existing and new products apart from competitors to give them a unique selling point
· Communicate new products or product changes to internal and external stakeholders
· Collaborate and participate with product managers / business unit manager in the launch of new products which involve various departments
· Prepare and take part in presentations when necessary/applicable
· Research competitor offerings for price and product reviews
· Review existing and new Special Price Requests in collaboration with the Business Unit Manager
· Review requests for non-core product offerings
· Yearly price review of existing products in relation to developments in the market and ICP
· Create/amend content such as buyer guides, technical data sheets, website copies and blog posts.
· Maintain and continue developing the client's website
· Set-up European websites for other distributors
· Coordinate digital activities
· Improve search-engine rankings
· Set-up, execute and maintain applicable (social) media channels
· Create, send and answer e-mail campaigns
· Collect, analyze and report data from online platforms. Adjust online strategy accordingly.



· At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience of Digital Marketing (B2B) and Content Management (Copywriting/Content Editing)
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken
· Writing skills
· Presentation skills
· Understanding of business basics
· Microsoft office
· Adobe Photoshop (pré)
· Analytical approach

· Pro-active
· Eye for detail & accurate
· Eager to take on new challenges
· Flexible attitude
· No ‘9 to 5’ work mentality
· Willingness to travel when required
· Analytical approach
