Job description

As a Finance Manager, you are responsible for the financial matters within the company. You are the sparring partner and specialist for internal and external stakeholders, understand what is happening in the business, and ensure the translation of this information into financial processing. Additionally, you contribute to further professionalizing the financial department. You are part of the Management Team.

• Providing relevant and reliable financial reports to internal and external clients and stakeholders;
• Preparation of periodic management reports and conducting financial analyses on the period results;
• Ensuring timely and accurate period closings;
• Responsible for implementing new processes and optimizing current processes within accounting;
• Performing internal controls on the quality of financial figures;
• Making preparations for the annual financial statements and ensuring completion of year-end audits;
• Responsible for business control;
• Ultimate responsibility for payroll administration (1 FTE);
• Managing the finance department (4 FTE).

Requirements

• A relevant degree, such as Business Administration, Accountancy, or Finance & Control;
• Minimum of 7 years' broad experience in independently preparing (financial) business administrations, preferably in a dynamic work environment such as production/trade;
• Experience with different types of administration and companies is a plus;
• Good Excel skills and experience with ERP;
• Ability to work independently and take initiative;
• Hands-on mentality;
• Analytical, flexible, and able to handle stress;
• Strong communication skills.

Working conditions

What does the company offer?

• A salary between 100-120k per year, including 2% end of year bonus

They have two locations in the Rotterdam region, with a total of approximately 600 employees. The annual turnover is approximately €450 million.
