Job description

As a GL Accountant, you will be focusing on the day to day finance/accounting for the manufacturing team at my client. You will record and analyze the financial data with the purpose of controlling the financial data flows and providing timely management control data. The most important activities in this role are:
  • Daily operational finance/accounting tasks to ensure that financial accounting of the manufacturing companies is in line with tax, legal and internal procedures;
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting;
  • Encode incoming invoices;
  • Intercompany recharging and reconciliation between entities;
  • Reconcile and prepare balance specifications;
  • Prepare memo and journal entries;
  • Support and prepare invoice accrual, prepayments, fixed assets with the Accounting Manager;
  • Controlling of (outsourced) payroll;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the following are required:
  • MBO/Bachelor degree in Business related subjects (preferably finance/economics);
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role;
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably JDE);
  • Professional level of English, and the willingness to learn Dutch;
  • You need to already live in the Netherlands and have a valid work permit

Working conditions

Next to the salary listed above, you will receive a direct contract at our client for 36-40 hours per week, depending on your preference. They offer 25 holiday days per month, plus 13 ATV days (so a total of 38 holiday days per year!), and a 13th month.

Salary from: €2700,-
Salary to: €4000,-
