Job description

For this position you need to have a knowledge of the Dutch Labor law, also this is a role with a starting date of October of November 2022.

What will you do?
Ensures the execution of HR policies and practices, in line with HR- and business plan and guidelines from corporate, in such a way that management is optimal supported in managing staffing, organizational- and people development.

What will you be responsible for?
Manages day-to-day HR administration: Contracts, memo’s, resignations, changes in work time, changes in job, parental\maternity leaves, changes in compensation & benefits, vitality allowance requests, etc.
Manages all necessary HR Administrative transactions in Workday.
Acts as a linking pin between NL Affiliate HR team and Payroll and HR Connect for HR operations, policies, processes and questions.
Manages relationship with external suppliers/parties (e.g.: UWV, SVB, car fleet management, occupational health service provider), including administration of contracts and payment of invoices.
Ensures compliance with local labor laws through review of work contracts and status changes.
Ensures compliance with local labor laws through review of local policies and procedures.
Ensures accurate and compliant pay and benefits administration.
Ensures HR processes and benefits are communicated and understood by employees.
Ensures employees' files are in order, including job descriptions.
Supports illness management by correct administration of illness cases and contact with case manager.
Provides input on request to support internal and external audits.
If necessary, conducts HR programs such as orientation, employee relations meetings, etc.
Coordinates onboarding, migration\mobility and payroll processes.
Deals with disciplinaries and grievances when needed.
Can participate in and lead HR projects if necessary.
Serves as back up support for HR Ops specialist in ABR HR.
Ensures HR efficiency and provides input on how to optimize processes.
Answers day-to-day employee and manager questions with a service-oriented mindset

Requirements

What will you bring?
Minimum Requirements
Master/Bachelor Degree in Human Resources (or relevant other study) or master/bachelor student in Human Resources study
2-3 years of relevant HR experience
Knowledge of HR processes and understanding the Dutch Labor Law
Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication
Computer skills
Experience in Workday administration is preferred
Sufficient knowledge and skills with Office 365-programs

For this vacancy, we can only consider candidates who reside in the Breda area. This position is based on a temporary contract of 1 year. The role can be executed part-time for 20 hours a week, and will commece in either October or November 2022.

For the HR department, our client is looking for a HR Generalist fluent in English and one other European language. You will be the central point of contact for connecting staff, managers and local HR to the company’s global HR programs and tools. You are the expert in answering all global HR questions!
