HSE Officer | Dutch B2 + English C1

Job description
As an occupational health and safety officer, you will have the unique opportunity to monitor safety at our client in the Netherlands and also abroad. Your duties will include:- Responsibility for supporting the Facility Manager, Loss Prevention, QESH and local management in their work in accordance with our client policy.
- Implementing local standards and management systems.
- In this role you will be responsible for providing solicited and unsolicited advice and support to the entire organization, and in particular management, on the content and implementation of health, safety and environmental policies.
- Your other responsibility will be creating HSE policy and guidance and provide a framework for processes and standards, and you will manage and coordinate overall HSE activities within the organization.
Requirements
For the Health and Safety Officer we are looking for:- Good communication skills in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a logistics environment.
- Knowledge of current legislation and regulations in the Netherlands, that is the reason why a B2 level of Dutch is required.
- Knowledge of foreign laws and regulations is an advantage.
- HBO working and thinking level, preferably higher safety science or integrated safety science supplemented with secondary safety science
