Our client, an American owned company, is operating in the electronic component redistribution market and they are located in the heart of Amsterdam. In overall there are offices and distribution facilities in North America, in Europe and in Asia.

We’re seeking a candidate who is enthusiastic, and passionate about their success to create opportunities to make customers highly successful and to reap the rewards for their extraordinary efforts! This position requires assertiveness, and goal-oriented behaviors to focus on effective business relationships with assigned accounts as well as identifying and onboarding new clients to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

· Pro-actively develops and manages strong business relationships using telephone and email resources to prospect accounts by providing exemplary service and support
· Consultatively sells products and services, prepares quotes, follows up on orders, and solves client-related problems
· Routinely identifies new opportunities to market and promote Waldom to the customer as the distributor of choice
· Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads or accounts in order to start sales process
· Promoting benefits, quoting prices, and preparing sales orders
· Manages client expectations during the sales process with the ultimate goal of creating an outstanding experience
· Create and deliver qualified opportunities to the management team

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Fluent in English and German; 3rd European language is an advantage
· Two or more years of prior job-related in sales or related field with a proven track record of consistent revenue growth; career experience should be in an environment with structured commission plan
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office, with focus on demonstrated working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook
· Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal
· Demonstrated customer service and account service
· Highly effective tele-sales skills, including professional demeanor, artful negotiation skills, and outstanding phone etiquette
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and, in particular, the ability to craft professional e-mails and client-related documents
· Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· BA & HBO degree
· Sales career experience with pre-assigned quota targets

Working conditions

Working conditions: •Direct contract with the company Working hours: 9:00 – 18:00, however, the candidate needs to be flexible and occasionally stay longer due to deadlines. • 24 holiday days • Great pension package • Travel reimbursement • € 3500-4000 + 8% based on 40 working hours • Starting date is as soon as possible
