International Account Manager - DACH

Job description

As an International Account Manager, you are responsible for selling the product of the client. You will look for customers abroad by yourself and approach them by telephone and e-mail. This is a versatile function for the entire sales process, from preparing the quotation to invoicing and follow-ups. It is important that you work reliably and accurately and that you have a great sense of responsibility for your client portfolio. You see achieving your goals and targets as a challenge to be accomplished.
You have an optimistic attitude and are able to communicate easily with others. Obviously, you have a commercial mindset and good communication skills.

A selection from your daily activities:
  • Independently finding and approaching new prospects;
  • Informing prospects about our product specifications;
  • Making quotations and price calculations;
  • Follow up on sent quotations by telephone;
  • Processing sales orders in AFAS;
  • Collaborate with the field staff in the sales process;
  • Support in handling returns;
  • Visiting trade fairs abroad if possible.

Requirements

Who are you:
  • You speak German on a C2 level and English on a C1 level, in speech and writing;
  • You can work and think at HBO + level and you have relevant work experience;
  • You are stress resistant and know how to set priorities independently;
  • You are highly motivated and you like to go the extra mile. For the customer, but also for our company;
  • You can work efficiently in a team as well as independently;
  • You have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package;
  • You have good communication skills and know how to speak to customers;
  • Knowledge of the AFAS operating system is preferred.

My client has been established in 200 and they are located in Groningen, the Netherlands (HQ). Their business is within the medical device industry. They are growing rapidly and they are active in more than 30 countries.
