Job description
Are you a great sales person? Do you have experience within the plastics or chemical industry? Then we might have an interesting position for you available, where you are going to be responsible for the Belgium and French market.As Sales Manager, your main focus will be maintaining existing relationships (CRM) and generating new leads. You will analyze the sales potential, map out your prospects and follow up on your leads.
A highly developed commercial drive, advanced social skills and strong negotiation skills are crucial in this role. You will be the liaison between the market, HQ and the production plants for project and product management. In addition to that, you will offer support to customers in the broadest sense of the word. You will not only help them to achieve the annual objectives, but you will also work with them to achieve future growth. (sales budget management).
You will report to the Area Manager, who is ultimately responsible for all commercial activities. However, with your experience and personality, you will be able to independently fulfill your role and responsibilities, as well as ensure that those involved stay well-informed regarding your actions and achieved results. You possess perseverance and a pleasant way of communicating at different levels and within different cultures. The ratio between office work and international travel is around 40/60%.
Requirements
You have:- HBO work and thinking level and an education related to commercial environments.
- You can communicate, negotiate, present, and persuade convincingly. You also have at least 3/4 years of international sales experience.
- Excellent command of the French & English language, both in word and in writing. Because you work in a Dutch team, Dutch is big plus.
- You are able to carry out several projects simultaneously while still paying attention to detail.
- A flexible attitude; no 9-5 mentality. You feel at home in a hectic environment.

Our client is an international company whose core business is within the plastic/chemicals industry.they do the production, marketing and sale for various market segments, including automotive, tape, sports & leisure, and construction. For their sales office in Culemborg, we have an opening for an international sales manager who is going to be responsible for the France and Belgium market.
