Job description

Key responsibilities and accountability :
· Complete training abroad as needed on the semiconductor company's products.
· Installations of equipment at customer sites.
· Technical support for customers technical questions.
· Completion of upgrades and retrofits.
· Identify areas for improvement of installed base and propose solutions
· Escalate technical issues within the company as per escalation process. Liaise with factory technical support as needed.
· Maintain contact with key technical staff at customer sites and report any customer satisfaction issues.


Qualifications & Requirements
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would be acceptable.

Diploma or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
Willingness to travel abroad for the duration of the installation of the products or maintenance services.
Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.
Two years’ plus work experience in the semiconductor equipment industry. Track experience is essential. TEL ACT and TEL Mark Track a priority. Experience with any other semiconductor equipment is an advantage.
Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic problems.
Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job.
Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
Strong time management skills.
Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities. Able to work productively in a pressurized environment.
Fluent in English. German and French an advantage,

Working conditions

The position includes a competitive salary as well as car package, long term illness cover, pension and mobile phone.

Salary from: €2800,-
Salary to: €3200,-

For a semiconductor company in The Netherlands we are looking for a Junior Field Service Engineer to handle their customers in Europe.
Key responsibility will be supporting the company's products including installation and maintenance as well as performing a backup role for the repair centre in Rosmalen, the Netherlands.
