Job description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments on a global level. This includes collaborating with logistics service providers, daily monitoring of warehouse and distribution operations, and any administration required. You will also plan and purchase materials for the Dutch office, plan any stock transfers and manage the inventory globally. Last but not least, you will be responsible for providing internal customer support in case of transportation issues and reporting on various items.
All-in-all, a wide range of tasks with a broad overview of the global logistics process.


- At least two years of experience in a global logistics or supply chain coordination position;
- A relevant education (preferably logistics related);
- Financial-mindset, and strong Excel skills;
- Experience with ERP systems;
- Independent work-ethic, and the ability to work in a small, international team (in addition to remote collaboration);
- Strong communication skills in English (all other languages are a plus);
- Available for 32-40 hours per week.

Your contract would be for 6 months, with a fixed salary of 2.700 euros per month (gross, based on full-time). The ideal starting date would be in mid-January 2021.

Our client has offices around the globe, so they are able to deliver their products around the world in a timely fashion. To assist with a growth period, they are looking for a temporary Logistics Coordinator to strengthen their small team in Utrecht (De Meern).
