Maintenance Engineer | Japanese C2

Job description
As a maintenance engineer, your primary responsibility would be to ensure that all the equipment and facilities used in the department are in good working condition and maintained properly. This may include tasks such as:- Conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any potential maintenance issues or repairs needed.
- Developing and implementing a preventative maintenance program to minimize the likelihood of equipment breakdowns or malfunctions.
- Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure that necessary parts and materials are available for repairs or replacements.
- Troubleshooting equipment and facility issues to determine the root cause of problems and implement effective solutions.
- Creating and maintaining documentation related to maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, equipment manuals, and repair records.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with the sales department's goals and objectives.
- Ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
- Relevant work experience in maintenance, repair, or operations
- Technical knowledge and proficiency in maintenance techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with computer programs and software related to maintenance and equipment monitoring
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies and practices in the maintenance field.
