Job description

Our client works towards a common goal: selling as many trucks, commercial vehicles, machines, and trailers for external suppliers as possible.

As an Online Buyer for the Polish market, you are an important link in achieving this goal. Before they can sell their external vehicles online, they need to first excite and convince their suppliers to offer their vehicles through their website.

Your tasks therefore will include:

  • Expanding and maintaining contact with regular and new suppliers
  • Approaching suppliers via phone and search online for new relationships
  • Ensuring optimal use of the network and gain the supplier's trust
  • Handling all incoming requests from new and existing suppliers who want to sell their vehicles to or through our client
  • Handling offers coming from all over Europe via websites and apps
  • Working with product managers to determine whether to purchase the vehicle directly or send a Buyer to inspect it
  • Purchasing the vehicle directly by phone if necessary
  • Ensuring all suppliers receive a quick response and close the best deals

Requirements

The requirements you need to carry out this job are:

  • Fluency in Polish and English. Dutch is a plus!
  • You are sociable, eager to learn new things and ambitious to grow with your team
  • You are proactive and can see opportunities from a mile away
  • You like being in contact with international clients
  • Experience in the Automotive industry is a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Buyer
  • IMPORTANT: for this role you have to be residing either in or around the areas of Veghel, Eindhoven or Helmond.
