Job description

As an Operational Buyer, you will enjoy a challenging and varied role. You will be responsible for the entire purchasing process, ensuring that inventory levels of parts, accessories, and machines are maintained. You will have daily, intensive contact with suppliers, building strong relationships with them.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing data to determine accurate forecasts.
  • Checking and processing purchase proposals and maintaining up-to-date information regarding purchase orders.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Contributing to the improvement of purchasing processes.
  • Discussing discrepancies with suppliers, monitoring delivery times, and taking necessary actions.
The Purchasing Department consists of three Buyers and a Team Lead. The team is well-matched and encourages each other to think creatively and "out of the box."

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum HBO+ working and thinking level.
  • Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of production processes.
  • Availability for 40 hours per week.
  • Knowledge of Slim4 - Slimstock and possession of a Nevi diploma is a plus.
