Job description
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Pijnacker, NL. As a Project Manager, your role is to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery. You'll work closely with both internal and external partners, handling all Project Management tasks.Your key responsibilities include:
- Manage projects from beginning to end, ensuring compliance with specifications and contracts.
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope, expectations, budget, deliverables, schedule, and goals.
- Identify project teams, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to the project plan for on-time completion.
- Create long and short-term plans, set milestones, stick to deadlines, and allocate resources.
- Manage changes in the project, making effective decisions for progress.
- Keep track of budget and schedule, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Handle revenue recognition, project invoicing, and project closure.
- Maintain Project Controls documentation.
- Perform quality control on project deliverables to maintain expected standards.
- Make essential visits to key stakeholders, which may include international travel.
- Negotiate directly with clients in face-to-face meetings.
- Swiftly and effectively manage "business situations" to achieve positive results for both the Client and the company, emphasizing improved project financial performance.
- Take charge of the quality process for project deliverables.
- Thoroughly grasp the project scope and concentrate on delivering added value to customers.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of project financial dimensions and their impact on overall company financial outcomes.
- Devote yourself to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, fostering trust and respect.
- Cultivate strong relationships throughout the organization, effectively navigating a matrix environment.
- Possess good communication skills and the ability to handle conflicts and disputes, finding common ground and promoting cooperation.
Requirements
Requirements:- 5 to 8 years of project management experience, with a preference for manufacturing or EPC backgrounds.
- Advantageous to have experience with Electrical Heat Tracing Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects through their entire life cycle.
- Proficient communication skills in both German and English, as well as Dutch.
