Job description

Do you want to become the Senior Backend Developer, at an innovative Scale-Up? Do you appreciate freedom and are you keen to learn? Keep reading!
Your goal and challenge will be to help grow our solution by 10-fold within the coming 12 months. You will be able to provide input and decide how and where to extend the functionality of backend, together with the Lead Developer and Founder.
For the coming year(s) we will focus on efficiently scaling our solution 10 fold! For this we want to redesign our code base, written in PHP, to a more granular shape (microservices/serverless functions/etc.). These will be greenfield TypeScript + NodeJS projects, with our database transitioning from relational to no-SQL. But most of all: with your experience, ideas and input!
You will be working closely together with our Lead Developer in making architectural choices, framework/tooling choices, etc. with the main goal of taking ownership of the project and driving it to a success.

Requirements

Must have:
  • Demonstrate senior experience with PHP, TypeScript / NodeJS
  • SQL (MSSQL)
  • Fluent in English
Nice to have:
  • Requirements Gathering (Use Cases)
  • Domain Driven Design
  • Microservices
  • NoSQL (MongoDB or any other)
Soft Skills
  • Team player
  • Analytical
  • Passionate about quality

Salary from: €3200,-
