Job description

As a Senior Credit Controller you will maximize the time spend on added value as a business partner. You will do so not only by collecting outstanding dept and keeping balances clean but you also take part in projects and process improvements. Among others, your tasks will include..
  • Managing the portfolio of outstanding debt by maintaining a timely and effective collection process
  • Monitoring accounts in transit and allocating payments
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve any issues
  • Acting as a business partner on financial risk evaluation by performing proper credit reviews
  • Analyzing development in aging of debt and payment behavior of customers to take appropriate actions
  • Challenging the existing processes and procedures and initiate process changes
  • KPI follow-up and maintaining good relationship customers and sales representatives
  • Actively taking part and/or taking lead/ownership of projects

Additionally, as senior member of the team you will also be responsible for...
  • onboarding & training/development of new team members within the team
  • coaching/developing other team members and drive change/process improvements
  • KPI reporting/ Month-end close support
  • Jumping in when needed to offer team support


You are the ideal Senior Credit Controller for my client if you are or have..
  • a Bachelor/ Master educational level and/or relevant working experience, 3+ years' experience as a Senior within a Credit Collection environment
  • Fluency in English and preferable one or more of the relevant languages within the FSSC team (German, French, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finish, Italian)
  • Experience in working within a changing environment with a continuous focus on process improvement
  • Experience in claim and deductions processes
  • Ability to prioritize your own workload and getting things done
  • Ability to take a leading position in the team & onboarding/training of new joiners
  • Relevant system knowledge (preferably SAP), proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in running projects and/ or process improvements
  • Detail oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities
