About the Assortment Planning Team: You will be part of a diverse team of 7 Senior Assortment Planners and 3 Leads, representing various nationalities and backgrounds. Our client's team combines internal experience with external assortment planning expertise. They are committed to doing the right thing and are passionate about sustainability in all its forms.
Job Summary: As a Senior Assortment Planner, you will manage one or more Consumer Field of Play (CFoP) areas for the entire fleet of over 200 doors across EMEA. You will enhance the consumer experience through effective assortment plans, increase profitability, and maintain a clean marketplace. Working closely with buyers, you will design consumer-centric investments and set the stage for pre-season planning. You will also manage in-season trading, anticipate trends, and adjust promotional strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Apply your planning knowledge independently, utilizing your understanding of retail KPIs, product, and inventory management.
• Collaborate effectively with both upstream and downstream teams, adapting to the dynamic nature of our environment.
• Identify and address risks by spotting emerging trends and potential issues, and escalate them with clear, fact-based analysis.
• Develop CFoP Assortment Plans (financial and inventory) using tools like WSSI and SSP, including investment proposals at the line level.
• Optimize outcomes through accurate planning and leveraging industry insights to balance trade-offs and achieve the best results.
• Monitor in-season trade post-launch to meet seasonal targets for revenue, units, and profitability.
• Facilitate decision-making by presenting opportunities and risks clearly to drive cross-functional decisions.
• Communicate effectively by crafting compelling messages that convey insights and strategies for pre-season collections.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with buyers to understand their plans and ensure order entry completeness.

Who You Will Work With: You will collaborate with a diverse cross-functional team, including Merchants/Buyers, Allocation, Merchandise Financial Planning, and Supply and Inventory teams.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a forecasting or buying capacity.
• Proficiency in forecasting, market trends, finance, and retail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use statistical techniques.
• Ability to anticipate consumer demand and market trends.
• Technical expertise in demand planning and mentoring.

Working conditions

This role is for 40 hours a week. We offer a competitive salary depending on experience.
