Job description

We are looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist to join the Global Trade & Customs Excellence team of our customer. In this role, you will support trade compliance activities related to the import and export of goods across a global organization, ensuring adherence to international regulations and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage import/export activities and ensure compliance with trade regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders and act as point of contact for trade compliance issues.
  • Develop and maintain trade compliance procedures and support regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on corporate planning and trade-related matters.
  • Oversee customs brokers and interact with customs authorities to resolve issues.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and support export licensing and permit processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years or Master’s degree with 4+ years of trade compliance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, export control, and trade regulations.
  • Experience with EU customs, classification, valuation, and origin determination.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills.
  • Certification in EU customs procedures and knowledge of international trade law preferred.
  • Please note: Due to our customer’s requirements and the fast-paced hiring process, only candidates currently residing in the Netherlands will be considered.

Working conditions

  • Hybrid position with limited on-site presence in Breda — once a week or every two weeks.
  • Competitive salary and reimbursement of travel expenses based on distance.
  • Contract via Undutchables with opportunities for professional growth.

Salary from: €6800,-
Salary to: €7200,-
