Meet the Business Process Software Consultant - Valentina Pugar

We have shared a lot with you about our company, our events, the Netherlands as a country and their traditions. We feel like it is high time you got acquainted with some of our colleagues. This blog will give you more insight into the life of an Undutchables team member, the challenges they face, their most memorable moments and their guilty pleasures. This week we will introduce our business process software consultant, Valentina Pugar. Enjoy!

1. How did you end up at Undutchables?

Being an international myself, I had a desire to work in an international environment. Undutchables presented itself as the perfect opportunity and I consider myself fortunate to have found a place where diversity and international perspectives are valued.

2. What is your role at Undutchables?

I started as an office assistant in The Hague office, and transitioned into the role of a business process software consultant with a focus on improving the efficiency of the recruitment process.

3. What are the most/least enjoyable aspects of your role?

The most enjoyable aspect of my role is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's recruitment process. While I'm passionate about improving our processes, I do miss the personal connection with the candidates.

4. What is the biggest challenge of the job?

Factors such as changing laws, software updates, and additional projects can make it challenging to stay up to date with everything.

5. What has been your most memorable moment in the job?

In my current role, I may not have as much direct contact with candidates as I did before, but the essence of helping someone remains the most fulfilling aspect for me. Meeting candidates, listening to their stories, and striving to help them (one way or the other) has always been the most rewarding part of the job.

6. What do you think is key for a successful recruiting process?

Different recruitment systems are helping us in our daily activities, but I firmly believe that the key to a successful recruitment process is a human touch and dedicating the time to connect with candidates and stay personal. I think Undutchables is very good at it. 😊

7. If you were to have a job outside an office environment, what would be your dream job?

This one is difficult, but I guess it would be something creative. For now I’ll stay in the office environment 😊
