Job description
As the
Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing both financial and HR administration, driving operational success within the organization. In this role, you’ll ensure that back-office processes run seamlessly, allowing your team to focus on what matters most: recruitment success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading a small but high-performing finance and administration team that directly supports recruitment operations.
- Maintaining a flawless financial administration, including payroll, timesheets, invoicing, and vendor payments - all critical to keeping recruitment processes running smoothly.
- Ensuring accurate and timely salary payments in compliance with industry-specific agreements.
- Advising on operational decisions, particularly around workforce management, and ensuring full compliance with labor laws and recruitment sector regulations.
- Managing the HR function, including oversight of recruitment staff, with a focus on employee retention, development, and attracting new talent.
- Creating an environment where your team can thrive - promoting efficiency, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
- Identifying and preventing operational challenges, so that all business activities are compliant and running efficiently.
Requirements
- You have a background in financial or business administration, with significant experience in managing a team and back-office functions in the recruitment industry.
- You bring a solid understanding of financial processes and HR operations, and you’re familiar with the compliance needs of the recruitment sector.
- You are a strong, hands-on leader with a strategic mindset, able to balance the demands of a fast-moving industry.
- You’re an excellent communicator, capable of engaging with stakeholders and employees at all levels.
- You thrive under pressure and are comfortable making decisions that uphold legal and regulatory standards, even in high-pressure commercial environments.
- You are a business fluent English speaker. Fluency in Dutch is considered a significant plus, but is not mandatory.
- You speak at least one of the following languages at good conversational / B2 level: Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Hungarian, Estonian, Latvia and/or Lithuanian
