Job description

As Business Analyst, you will play an essential role in working on solutions related to the selling of insurance, solutions automating and optimizing the claims process, as well more marketing related apps such as a health and wellness loyalty mobile application.
  • Gather and document stakeholder inputs through interviews, collaborative sessions, and feedback reviews
  • Convert business challenges and objectives into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with the product team to refine and prioritize the backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Communicate requirements to the technical team and assist during solution design and development phases
  • Present and clarify requirements to nearshore and offshore development teams
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to manage expectations and ensure alignment
  • Lead workshops with clients to shape, confirm, and validate requirements related to the functionality, configuration, and deployment of our web-based insurance solutions
  • Facilitate internal and client sessions to ensure our solutions remain consistent, high-performing, and maintainable across various implementations
  • Assist clients in adopting new features by providing guidance, training, and sharing best practices
  • Ensure documentation remains up-to-date, accurate, and easy to understand
  • Take ownership of analyzing and resolving urgent, complex production issues
  • Address technical and integration-related challenges with a problem-solving mindset
  • Foster strong working relationships within a diverse, global team and with external stakeholders
  • Use tools like Jira and Confluence to stay organized and support operational continuity
  • Collect, process, and document feedback from stakeholders and development teams to drive continuous product and process improvement

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience leading digital or software projects in roles such as product management, business analysis, or consulting
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in a technical or quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Proficient in English at a professional level (C1/C2), both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and uncover opportunities
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within team settings, contributing to shared objectives and fostering a knowledge-sharing culture
  • Skilled in gathering and clearly documenting stakeholder needs and requirements
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, international environments
  • Familiarity with challenges related to security and regulatory compliance
  • Solid understanding of stakeholder engagement, business analysis practices, and product lifecycle management
  • Experience collaborating with nearshore or offshore development teams
  • Practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Understanding of web service integration, particularly RESTful APIs
  • Experience using tools such as Postman and Swagger for API testing and documentation
  • Working knowledge of data formats and languages like JSON, YAML, and XML
  • Able to produce well-structured, audience-appropriate written communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; proactive, confident, and a strong team contributor
  • Must live within the the Rotterdam/Hague region.
