Job description
Responsibilities:- Policy and Strategy Decisions: Assist the executive team in making informed decisions regarding company policies and strategic direction.
- Recruitment Support: Provide necessary support in recruiting new employees as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
- Team Supervision: Oversee the team responsible for financial reporting and budgeting, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial documents.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement timely measures to mitigate them.
- Performance Financial Analysis: Analyze financial results and recommend changes based on the findings to improve the company's financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reports to relevant stakeholders and the executive board.
- Cash flow management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and growth
- Stake holder communication: serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors and financial institutions
- Employee development: Mentor and develop the financial team, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
- Foreign Operations Structuring and Analysis: Play an active role in structuring and analyzing the company's foreign operations. Since last year, our client has acquired various interests in international activities, making this a critical responsibility.
- Financial Administration: Managing the financial administration will also play a big role in your responsibilities as CFO.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role.
- Fluency in English. Arabic is a plus!
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a financial team effectively.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA is preferred.
