Job description

The Export and Business Development Associate is responsible for supporting the organization's international sales activities and communication efforts. This includes managing client relationships, executing sales strategies, overseeing the service process, coordinating marketing campaigns, and creating content tailored to target markets. The role requires excellent communication skills, commercial and technical insight, and knowledge of international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
Actively participate in implementing international sales strategies.Maintain contact with existing international clients and prospects to strengthen relationships.Track client information and sales activities in the CRM system.
Communication and Content Creation:
Create and manage content for international marketing and communication campaigns, including social media, newsletters, and website content.Adapt marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and product information in multiple languages.Write and translate texts for various audiences and cultures.Maintain contacts with trade journals/press.
Events and Trade Shows:
Coordinate participation in international trade shows, training, and events.Maintain contact with event organizers and suppliers to ensure successful participation.
Transport and Logistics:
Coordinate shipments with carriers and logistics partners.Maintain contact with transport companies, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
Customer Service and Aftersales:
Handle inquiries, complaints, and service requests from international customers.Coordinate aftersales activities to ensure customer satisfaction.Assist in resolving issues related to deliveries or products in international markets.

Requirements

  • Around 4 years of work experience in international sales, marketing, or communication.
  • Fluent in German and English is required; knowledge of other languages such as Dutch, Italian, or French is a plus.
  • Understanding of international sales strategies and marketing techniques.
  • Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and customer focus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in working with MS Office, CRM systems, and marketing software.
  • Proactive: Identifies opportunities and takes action to achieve sales goals.
  • Creativity: Thinks creatively when developing marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Results-Oriented: Strives to meet sales targets and achieve effective communication.
