Job description
Our client is seeking a skilled Field Sales Representative to support their expansion in the Belgian market, specifically the Wallonia (french-speaking) region.Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Client Management:
- Drive sales by engaging with ethnic retail stores, particularly those serving Arabic and Turkish communities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to enhance the client's brand presence.
- Product Visibility:
- Conduct regular visits to supermarkets and retail outlets to ensure the client's products are prominently displayed.
- Implement strategies to improve product placement and visibility according to the client's guidelines.
- Pricing & Market Analysis:
- Advise on and monitor sales prices to maintain competitiveness.
- Gather and report on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer feedback to support the client's decision-making.
- Reporting:
- Provide detailed reports to the client on sales performance, product visibility, and market conditions.
Requirements
- Speaks Arabic and English. Dutch and/or French are a plus.
- Experience as a salesperson, preferably in the food industry.
- You live in the Wallonia region (southern part of Belgium)
- you have great relationship building, presentation and communication skills
- You can be at least 2 times a month in our client's office in Katwijk (North Brabant region)
- You have a drivers license and you are able to visit clients frequently
Working conditions
- A 1 year or 7 month contract, followed by another temporary contract, which will be followed by a permanent contract
- 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance
- Travel cost allowance of €0,21 per kilometer
