Job description

As a Field Service Engineer for the Benelux region, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of high-tech instrumentation at customer sites. You will act as a technical expert and work closely with commercial and support teams to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction. The role is field-based with regular travel across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain advanced instrumentation
• Execute qualification and validation of instruments at customer sites
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients and junior engineers
• Coordinate service requests, prioritize interventions, and manage field inventory
• Collaborate with internal teams and support customer satisfaction initiatives
• Maintain technical documentation and compliance with quality procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Informatics, Biotechnology or similar
• Open to recent graduates with a strong interest in hands-on technical work and learning in the field
• Any prior experience in a Field Service or lab environment is a plus, especially in medical devices or biotech
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
• Fluency in English required; Dutch at B1 level is acceptable depending on background
• Valid driving license and flexibility to travel frequently (up to 75–90%)
