Job description
The primary objective of this role is to investigate, pinpoint, and implement large-scale cost-saving initiatives that result in reduced costs for the company within the EMEA region, particularly in categories related to Marketing & Sales, Facilities, HR, and eventually Finance and Legal. Additionally, it involves managing contracts with our suppliers and taking advantage of new opportunities in the market to help us save money. This role also helps make our buying processes better and more efficient based on past experience.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Strategically source goods and services while maintaining anonymity to prioritize spending categories effectively.
- Research market conditions and product offerings to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Standardize and oversee contractual agreements to minimize risks and protect the organization's interests.
- Cultivate valuable vendor relationships to introduce new services and improve performance.
- Manage conflicts and transformations at various levels through trusted relationships, both within and outside the organization.
- Develop and maintain key peer relationships to enhance knowledge sharing and work efficiency.
- Conduct analyses and collaborate with other departments to maintain good customer relations and contract compliance.
- Lead complex negotiations within specified categories, including Marketing & Sales, Facilities, HR, Finance, and Legal.
- Maintain the contracts database and special terms documents for efficient record-keeping.
- Administer all aspects of category-specific contract administration, from drafting to signature collection and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and explore opportunities for contract improvements.
- Contribute to special projects, such as process improvements and cross-departmental initiatives.
- Manage contracted commodities across EMEA entities while monitoring market trends and benchmarks.
- Uphold Procurement Policy and Guidelines consistently across the EMEA region while maintaining anonymity.

Requirements
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Preferred: Holds advanced certificates in Project and Process Management.
- Has at least 4 years of experience in Indirect Procurement.
- Possesses at least 4 years of experience in preparing, negotiating, following up, and managing commercial proposals and contracts.
- Demonstrates excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
- Natural problem solver with a flexible yet firm approach.
- Familiar with Procurement methodology.
- Mandatory: Proficient in SAP with practical work experience.
- Essential: Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written); Dutch language skills are a valuable asset.
- Exhibits strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel (including V-lookups, pivot tables, macros).
- Capable of working independently with initiative and autonomy.
- Able to function effectively as part of a global team.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
