Job description

Our client is looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to support their production team. This role focuses on maintaining high product standards, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring that all materials and products meet quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and Measure: Check product dimensions and compare them with specifications using various measuring tools.
Quality Control: Review incoming materials and finished goods to ensure they meet required quality standards.
Document Findings: Keep detailed records of inspections, tests, and any issues found.
Support Production Teams: Help train staff on quality procedures and best practices.
Solve Problems: Identify and address quality issues quickly, including putting temporary measures in place when needed.
Process Improvements: Suggest ways to make quality checks or production more efficient.
Understand Drawings: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
Stay Safe: Follow company safety rules and work in line with attendance expectations.
Be Flexible: Willingness to work overtime and adjust schedules when needed.
Team Contribution: Assist in reaching production goals, both short- and long-term.

Requirements

Experience in a build-to-order or custom assembly production environment.
Familiarity with quality systems such as SPC or Six Sigma is essential
Knowledge of industry standards and testing procedures for quality control.
Hands-on experience with inspection tools like CMM or similar measuring equipment.
Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ or equivalent).
Experience: Background in a quality-related role in manufacturing.
Technical Knowledge: Comfortable working with mechanical components and interpreting engineering documents.
Software Skills: Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Analytical Abilities: Strong with numbers, technical analysis, and problem-solving.
Communication: Clear and professional in both written and spoken communication.
Detail-Oriented: Precise, careful, and committed to quality.
Stress Resilience: Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
Must live in the Arnhem area - fully onsite
