Who are you?
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Assistant to join a dynamic retail team.

• You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding in-store experience while upholding the brand’s values through visual presentation and customer engagement.
• Ensure the shop floor is consistently well-organized, clean, and visually aligned with brand standards.
• Act as the face of the brand, conveying a spirit of creativity, energy, and environmental awareness in every customer interaction.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying needs, offering tailored advice, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the product range, including materials, sizes, delivery timelines, and overall brand identity.
• You will work in Utrecht

Requirements

Who are you?

• Proficiency in English is essential, as the store welcomes a diverse, international clientele.
• Strong interpersonal, energetic and communication skills, with a natural ability to engage with customers.
• A proactive sales mindset, focused on achieving results and contributing to team goals.
• Ability to listen actively and ask the right questions to recommend suitable products—previous experience in sales is highly valued.
• Enthusiasm for selling, cross-selling, and proposing alternatives to enhance the customer experience.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends, as part of a collaborative team.
• You live in Utrecht (travel costs will not be reimbursed)
• You must have a valid working - & residence permit for the Netherlands. Our client does not offer sponsorship.
• Candidates who are living abroad will not be considered.

Working conditions

Start date: 16 June 2025The hourly salary is EUR 14,40 per hour gross, excl. holiday money 8%You will be employed directly by our client, starting with an initial 7-month contract.The position is for 30 hours per week, spread across 5 working days, and includes rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
