Job description
Senior Quality Control and Compliance Specialist you oversee factories to make sure everything meets the high standards that our client expect. This includes checking on few aspects, like how well products are made, if they're safe, and if they follow all the rules.Duties include:
- Analyzing and interpreting key performance indicators, providing insights to leadership through quality reports and presentations.
- Implementing established quality protocols, conducting investigations, and managing reworks or repairs as necessary.
- Generating monthly performance evaluations for assigned facilities.
- Facilitating communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding quality and technical specifications.
- Coordinating factory audits, maintaining compliance records, and reporting findings to relevant systems.
- Overseeing the closure of factories, managing the disposal process, and updating internal systems accordingly.
- Ensuring global standards compliance and monitoring open purchase orders.
- Developing risk management strategies, collaborating with legal and compliance teams, and staying informed about industry regulations.
- Providing training to company personnel and staying informed about European regulations and customs requirements.
- Collaborating with procurement teams to onboard and offboard vendors as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in global manufacturing and quality assurance, preferably within the optical industry.
- High proficiency in English is a MUST; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge of optical industry practices and regulatory standards.
- Understanding of quality management principles and conflict resolution techniques.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Analytical mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (Not often))
