Join our client's dynamic team as a TSS Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in surveying and mapping sites for 5G installations within the Telecom industry. This position involves extensive travel across Europe, especially Germany, to perform technical site assessments and assist in creating technical drawings. We seek a candidate who combines strong technical skills with the ability to adapt to diverse site conditions.
A Typical Week as a TSS Engineer:Monday:Start your week with a strategy meeting at our headquarters in Arnhem Noord. Here, you’ll coordinate with your colleagues and project managers to finalize your itinerary for the week, focusing on both Telecom and EV projects. Your main goal is to ensure thorough planning for 5G installations and EV charging stations.Tuesday to Thursday:Travel across Germany, visiting multiple sites each day. Your expertise in Telecom will guide you as you conduct detailed site assessments. You’ll gather essential data, including precise measurements and high-resolution photographs. Afterward, enjoy a meal on the company’s tab before heading to your hotel for a restful night. Wake up to a hearty breakfast and prepare for another day of site visits.
Friday:Return to the office to debrief and prepare for the following week. Meet with the Business Support Manager to review your upcoming assignments—next stop, Trier! Spend the rest of the day processing the data you collected, ensuring that all construction drawings are accurately updated and clearly annotated for the construction team.This schedule offers a dynamic blend of office work and fieldwork, allowing you to apply your technical skills in various environments while contributing to cutting-edge Telecom and EV infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct technical site surveys across various European locations.Document current site conditions with detailed photos and measurements.Collaborate with engineers, constructors, and project managers to devise customized solutions.Assist in designing and planning Telecom infrastructure projects.
Daily Tasks:Visit 2 to 3 sites daily to gather essential construction data.Ensure precise and comprehensive data collection for site preparation.Offer insights and recommendations for optimal 5G installation or charging station designs.Prepare and clarify construction drawings and documentation for constructors.Utilize advanced technical equipment such as tablets, cameras, 3D scanners, and drones.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:Language Proficiency: Fluent in both German and English; proficiency in Dutch is a plusTechnical Expertise: Solid technical background with the ability to analyze and contribute to technical drawings and plans.Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse environments, including at heights.
Requirements:Educational Background: Education in construction, telecom, or a related field.Travel Willingness: Readiness to travel extensively across Europe with company expenses covered.Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license.Collaboration Skills: Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
