The Commercial Director will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy of our client. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in the food industry and a proven track record as a commercial director. The successful candidate will lead the commercial department, driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and enhancing customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, including sales, marketing, and business development professionals.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on achieving targets and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities and areas for expansion.
  • Oversee the development of tailored solutions to meet customer requirements and enhance satisfaction.
  • Drive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of commercial activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on commercial performance.


  • Fluency in English (C1/C2 level)
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus!
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Commercial Director or in a similar senior commercial role within the food industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of market research methods and analysis.

Working conditions

  • A 1 year or 7 month contract, followed by another temporary contract, which will be followed by a permanent contract
  • 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance
  • Travel cost allowance of €0,21 per kilometer

Salary from: €7000,-
Salary to: €9000,-
