Job description

My international client is looking for a Finance & Technical Consultant for their office in Ede in the Netherlands. You will collaborate closely with customers, offering professional guidance and support both remotely and on site. The role involves delivering expert services during implementation projects, providing training to both new and existing users, and contributing to the documentation of product knowledge. You should be confident in leading training sessions and comfortable presenting to groups.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
  • Work closely with customers to provide consulting, guidance, and operational support, both remotely and on site.
  • Deliver specialist services during deployment and implementation projects.
  • Configure applications and train customers, ensuring effective adoption and ongoing support.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including knowledge base articles and training materials.
  • Manage and support customer service cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Participate in testing new features in collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1-3 three years of experience in finance, project management, customer success, or software implementation roles within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) with strong proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Communication: Confident in presenting and explaining complex technical and financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to manage client expectations and communicate effectively across stakeholders.

  • Technical & Functional Skills:
  • Solid understanding of software applications and systems, with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks, and the ability to translate this expertise into practical software solutions.
  • Experience with customer support tools, ticketing systems, and documentation platforms.
  • Familiarity with software testing processes and working closely with development teams.
  • Ability to create clear training materials and user documentation.
  • Background in the automotive sector is considered an asset.

  • Strong coaching and advisory capabilities.
  • Confident communicator in group and training settings.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to act as a trusted sparring partner for clients on financial implementation matters.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform well under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Empathetic listener with a consultative approach to client needs.
  • Flexibility: High willingness to travel within Netherlands

Working conditions

  • Annual salary between €50.000 & €55.000 including 8% holiday allowance
  • Pension plan
  • A permanent (Indefinite) contract is offered from the start, with a two-month probation period

  • 29 Vacation days per annum (To be discussed during interview with recruiter)
