Job description

For this temporary assignment, we are seeking an experienced safety professional with a strong background in laboratory environments. The role involves providing expert support in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. The primary responsibilities of this assignment would include the development of guidance documents such as safety standards and handbooks, as well as the creation of engaging training materials based on existing documentation. At a later stage, direct on-site support for specific business units may also become part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adapt and update SHE guidance documents (e.g., Lab SHE Handbook).
  • Translate global SHE frameworks and Life Saving Rules into practical tools.
  • Develop and support training materials and facilitation.
  • Prepare presentations, communications, and SHE content for global use.
  • Contribute expert input to global SHE projects and harmonization activities.
  • Collaborate with Competence Lead, global SHE teams, and site stakeholders.
  • Apply SHE expertise specifically to laboratory and office environments
Note, this is a temporary role.

Requirements

Job Requirements
  • Relevant scientific or SHE-related education (e.g., laboratory, safety engineering, industrial hygiene).
  • Several years of practical SHE experience in lab and/or office environments.
  • Proven experience creating SHE guidance, training materials, or technical documentation.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and training design skills.
  • Ability to translate complex SHE standards into practical, usable formats.
  • Self-driven, structured, and able to work in a global matrix organization.
