Job description

• Trading Expertise: Utilize your experience in trading fresh produce to effectively negotiate and execute deals with clients and suppliers. Monitor market trends, pricing, and demand to make informed trading decisions.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek out opportunities to expand our customer base. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Logistical Coordination: Oversee the logistical aspects of sales orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to streamline the shipping and distribution process.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with suppliers and quality control teams to address any issues and maintain product integrity throughout the supply chain.
• Organizational Support: Provide support to the commercial team as needed, assisting with administrative tasks, reporting, and market research. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and business plans to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the fresh produce trading industry.
• Fluency in English and French is required. Proficiency in Dutch is preferred.

• You can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. While you are capable of taking initiative and making decisions autonomously, you also recognize the value of collaboration and teamwork within the commercial team.

• You have experience working with modern computer programs and are comfortable utilizing technology to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• You reside within a reasonable distance from Noord-Scharwoude or Maasland, or are willing to relocate to these areas for the position.
