Temporary Executive Assistant

Job description

For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Temporary Executive Assistant to start in the beginning of February till the end of October. In this role, you will be supporting the management in such a way that the functioning of the management is optimally shaped internally and externally. You are taking care of supporting tasks for the board and the entire organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing calendars for our management, including booking travel arrangements and applying for visas.
  • Receiving of visitors and handling telephone calls for management in a friendly and correct manner.
  • Sorting, distributing, and processing incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail, signaling the urgency, adding documents required for processing, and monitoring the processing.
  • Assisting the assistant to the CEO in any of the administrative or facility tasks.
  • Assists in the organizational preparations for meetings, the development of reports and action lists, and monitoring the progress of action points.
  • Drafting draft letters and the like—on general instructions—processing texts and performing editorial or layout work.
  • Maintaining the management archive.
  • Be a backup for the other assistants.

Requirements

Knowledge and experiences:
  • Specific training for management assistant and/or office manager education
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Well experienced with complex calendar management
  • Is initiative, discrete, has perseverance, and has good communication skills
  • Excellent level of English in writing and speaking; speaking Dutch is an advantage
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Working conditions

  • Fulltime position, 40 hours per week
  • Start date at the beginning of February/mid-February till the end of October
  • Salary €3500-4000 gross based on 40 hours 
  • Ideally working 100% onsite
  • Working hours 8.30 - 17.00
