We have shared a lot with you about our company, our events, the Netherlands as a country and their traditions. We feel like it is high time you got acquainted with some of our colleagues. This blog will give you more insight into the life of a recruiter, the challenges they face, their most memorable moments and their guilty pleasures. This week we will introduce our office assistant from The Hague, Andrea Culotta. Enjoy!
I attended a walk-in event in The Hague and received really wonderful advice on my job hunt from my now colleague Emmanuele 😊. The next day an email with a job alert for the position came in my inbox. It felt like fate!
I really enjoy going through the CV’s of our newly registered candidates. Its fun getting a glimpse into someone’s story, and even better when I get to meet them in person during their contract meeting after landing a job.
If I had to pick a less enjoyable part, it would be juggling communication between candidates, clients, and recruiters when things are changing quickly, but it definitely keeps the role dynamic and engaging!
The visa and work permits in the Netherlands can be confusing, especially for people new to the country. Making sure candidates and clients fully understand the requirements can be a challenge, but it's an important part of the process
Filming the spotlight week content for The Hague was a very memorable time. It made me realize that the ladies of The Hague office would be good TV personalities!
Being upfront and clear about your past experiences and what you are looking for in a role. This ensures our candidates are placed in a role that is a great fit.
I would love to be a peloton instructor! It seems like the perfect combination of working out and getting to be a motivational speaker/comedian.
Checking all the bonus folders for great deals at the beginning of each week.
