The latest Nuffic report on Incoming Degree Mobility 2024-25 shows that the Netherlands is still a top destination for global talent. Students from all over the world choose to study in the Netherlands, with Engineering still maintaining a leading spot.
The increase of international students enrolled in Dutch higher education went up by 3% from last year. While this signifies a continued growth in this area, it also shows the beginning of stabilisation in the numbers since the growth percentage is smaller than in recent years.
With the numbers rising less quickly than normal, we need to keep in mind how essential this talent group is for the work environment in the Netherlands.
